Travel through the Ages to a set theme to study the Greats and their scientific findings.  Learn about Ancient Cultures, beliefs and how the world was seen.  Experience the connections made by the great scientific minds of the times. Hands on activities, games, experiments, projects, enactments and discussions.  Weekly assignments and readings and videos for extended learning and self made connections.  Although Science is the focus, math, history, geography, language arts, creative arts, and governance are all a BIG part of this online class.
Science Through the Ages - Thales and his student

Take a look at the world through the eyes of Thales of Miletus, said by many to be the `Father of Science`. Experience the questions and ideas a scientist thinks. Recreate and explore Thales and his most well known student, Anaximander thoughts and explorations. Topics such as hypotheses, geometry, ratios, angles, astronomy, elements and more will be explored.

Take a look at the world through the eyes of Pythagoras of Samos where `all is number`. Adventure through his travels of far away lands and relive his findings and discoveries. Topics include scientific method, astronomy, sound, Pythagorean Theorem, Pythagoreanism and more.
