Learn the ways of the Wilderness as we delve into great skills and units of survival training.  Each 4 week unit takes on a different theme of survival that will get explored in a safe, experimental way. Hands on learning through activities, enactments, games, projects and discussions.  Weekly assignments, readings and videos for extended learning. History, geography, science, mathematics, language arts, and creative arts are utilized as we journey through our learning of Wilderness Survival.
Wilderness Survival - Getting Prepared
 (4 weeks)

This 4 week Online LIVE class will cover topics of getting ready for a wilderness/outdoor adventure.  Weekly topics include; Planning and Assessing weather, Survival kit, Safety Precautions, Conduct, Awareness and Respect of Nature.

With the purchase of the online LIVE class you also receive the Class Outline in pdf form and all the recordings from the class so you can view again later.
Wilderness Survival - Navigation
 (4 weeks)

This 4 week Online LIVE class will cover topics of getting ready for a wilderness/outdoor adventure.  Weekly topics include; Finding Direction, Maps, Locate your Position, Setting Your Map and GPS and Geo-caching.
